They keep adding apartment complexes and more people keep moving down here and every downtown in the world had a cool live music venue and Tampa didn’t have one. With everything that’s going to happen with Vinik bringing a lot of more businesses to downtown, it’s only going to get bigger.”>

Interview #2

Interviewer: Ryann Daddio

Interviewee: Franco Pescante

Interview Setting: Franklin Manor Patio

Start of Interview:

Ryann Daddio: What was your vision in putting your bar in downtown Tampa?

Franco Pescante: The way that we came up with Franklin Manor, with the resurgents of downtown Tampa, we wanted to find a spot for the locals that had an inside and outside with live music, cool happy hour, food element and a nice bar, and there’s been a lot of things coming up in downtown but there was no entertainment. They keep adding apartment complexes and more people keep moving down here and every downtown in the world had a cool live music venue and Tampa didn’t have one. So me and my business partner decided to put Franklin Manor here in downtown and with everything that’s going to happen with Vinik bringing a lot of more businesses to downtown, it’s only going to get bigger.
